Brewery

Sachihime shuzo

Sachihime Shuzo was founded in 1934 in Kashima, Saga Prefecture. It is the youngest and smallest of the six breweries in this small town of 30,000 people. Because sake is carefully brewed in small tanks, it is not mass-produced. Instead, the brewery takes advantage of the characteristics of small quantities to manage the balance of temperature, water temperature, and sake rice production in pursuit of the ideal "brewery taste. Also nearby is Yutokuinari Shrine, one of Japan's three major rice harvest shrines, and the brewery is the designated sacred sake brewer for this shrine.

Sachihime Shuzo is also taking on the challenge of bringing sake to new markets, offering sake brewery tours and tastings. In addition, its 0% alcohol sake soft serve ice cream, which is safe for children, people who cannot drink alcohol, and drivers, has grown into a popular product that has been featured on TV and in the media.

In addition, the company actively participates in various contests and has won prizes at the International Wine Challenge in England, the National Sake Competition in the United States, the Australian Sake Awards in Australia, and the SAKE COMPETITION in Japan.
