Why should you take it?
Dry sake to go with Yakiniku
Yonetsuru Shuzo's dry sake is aptly described as "dry sake that goes well with Yakiniku. One Yakiniku restaurant offers a variety of sake, but the first to disappear is this Yonetsuru Extra dry Junmai.
Yonetsuru Shuzo has been brewing sake for 300 years in an area famous for its Yonezawa beef. Sake brewing is heavily influenced by the local food culture, and sake is inevitably chosen to go well with meat dishes. You can enjoy a pairing that will intertwine well with the flavor of grilled meat and cut through the grease.
There are many brands of dry sake, each with its own characteristics. Why not compare several brands and enjoy their differences and individual characteristics?

Product
KURA ONE® Yonekuru Super Spicy Junmai (180ml)
This "Yonetsuru (Extra dry)" is a light and dry junmai (pure rice) sake that achieves a balance of the "richness of junmai sake" and a "sharp and clear finish" by fermenting the moromi (mash) for a longer period compared to regular brewing. This brewery practices "sake brewing from rice cultivation," and this product is brewed using "Dewakirari" rice from Yamagata Prefecture, polished up to 35%. The umami of the rice and a firm acidity harmonize well, resulting in a spicy yet flavorful taste. The well-balanced umami subtly asserts itself. It can be enjoyed with a wide range of dishes, including meat dishes.

The result is sake with a well-balanced aroma, taste, and sharpness, and an honest and refreshing flavor.
It has won the Gold Award at the National New Sake Competition more than 30 times, the Superior Award at the Tohoku Sake Competition more than 35 times, and more than 150 awards at various sake competitions. It has also been used as in-flight sake on international flights by Japan Airlines (JAL) and All Nippon Airways (ANA), and is highly acclaimed in many other fields.
Area
Takahata / Yamagata
Located in the southeastern part of Yamagata Prefecture, Takahata is a beautiful area spread out on the fan-shaped terrain of the Ou Mountains. Due to the mineral-rich soil, fruit tree production is flourishing.
This blessed natural environment and climate has made it possible to produce high quality raw material fruit trees and Takahata wine, which has even won gold at the IWC in England. In addition, Takahata is the birthplace of organic agriculture, and rice is produced by the producer of the most delicious rice in Japan.
The stately former Takahata Station Building made of Takahata stone and the current Takahata Station Building in the shape of a fairy tale will draw you into an extraordinary world once you step into the station.
